Monster Double Zapper Lamp, Portable & Rechargeable, Black

In the summer I like to sit outside and eat dinner, but the bugs are terrible. I put this on the patio table and it helps tremendously! I love that the battery is rechargeable so I don’t need to buy more batteries. Would highly recommend for anyone that’s prone to bug bites!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bug zapper has really been a lifesaver lately! I live in Southern California and the bugs are a nightmare with the summer heat. This bug zapper gets rid of them quickly! I love that it can address flying insects as well as cockroaches and crawling insects at the same time. The battery power is great also and it tends to last for awhile. Definitely a great find!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] think this monster double zapper by Bell & Howell does a decent job of taking care of smaller flying insects. To start with charging it is super easy you just plug in the USB port to the unit and the other half into your power adapter and it only takes about four hours to charge which is nice. The full charge gives you about 7 to 7 1/2 hours of use each time when it is in mosquito mode. After charging this and leaving it out overnight in mosquito mode I was happy to see the next morning that there were lots of small moths, mosquitoes, and other small insects that had been eliminated. While I know that this product is also a dual zapper meaning it also kills insects that crawl I’m not totally sold on this portion of the bug zapper. To use the zapper for crawling insects it has to be placed in a high traffic area where pests are noticed, you have to put bait in the tray and then once something such as a roach finally goes into the tray the heating cycle begins. The heat will turn on three hours after something is detected in the tray. Then it heats up for eight minutes to kill the insect or insects inside. Well this is a good feature I feel that it limits the amount of flying insects that can be killed because the extra power will then have to be used on anything in the tray, whether it be one crawling insect or multiples. I feel more insects could be taken care of using the bug zapper portion only. In regards to set up, use, and cleaning of this bug zapper I think it’s a good product. Set up is easy, it charges relatively quickly, and it comes with a small cleaning brush which is nice. The thing I like best is that it’s portable! If you’re looking for a portable, light duty bug zapper, that charges easily this may be a good option for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a smaller sized bug zapper that has a great feature of a tray on the bottom that traps crawling bugs and bakes them, but you have to buy bait to put in there (it's not included). It charges through a USB, which is appealing to me instead of having to use batteries. However, it does not come with the brick charger that plugs into the electrical socket, so you have to get your own to charge it. I like that it can be used indoors or outdoors, and can either hang or sit on the ground. It's a strong zapper, but the bottom bait tray did not work well for me.

I absolutely cannot stand bugs so when this arrived I was super eager to start testing it out. On our first night outside with this, it was killing bugs like crazy! We have a lot of mosquitos where I live so something like this is a blessing to have around. It also kills Flys, ants, and even cockroaches!! It is super easy to use, there is a button for mosquitos, one for cockroaches and even a button for it want to kill both. It's really easy to clean out too and I love that at the top there is a handle so you can hang it wherever. Overall I think this little machine is great and I plan to bring it outside with us anytime we go out there now!
