J'ai remplacé mon chauffe-eau au mazout en 2006 par ce model, il fournit autant et même en hiver avec les deux familles réunis pendant le temps des fêtes, je n'ai jamais manqué d'eau chaude.
Il est toujours froid à l'extérieur car l'isolation est supérieure par rapport aux autres.
Finalement la garantie m'offre une tranquillité d'esprit pendant au moins 12 ans...
Merci Canadian Tire de vendre un aussi bon produit!

Great Hot Water Heater

I'm a Burlington ON resident and had this heater installed after the August storm that flooded 3200 basements in our community. The heater has been excellent and the service by Canadian Tire outstanding. Highly recommend.

Q: What is the model number of this heater? GSW does not list a 12 year tank at 5500W on their website. An answer 7 years ago said this was a 12 year tank

A: Hello, the model number of this heater is: G1280TDE-55. We only sell this specific water heater to Canadian Tire, therefore it is not shown on our website. Please see the Canadian Tire reference sheet in store for their model selection.

Q: How many anodes does it have? (Some of the longer warranty models like 9 or 12 years often have 2 anodes) and are there magnesium anodes or aluminum? And does this unit have the upgraded elements made from Incoloy?

A: Hi Brad, the vendor started taking off the number of anodes in the units as it can vary. Larger warranty models have larger anode coverage, which can result in a longer anode or secondary anode. The heaters come standard with magnesium anodes as this is best for Canada. The 9 and 12 year electrics have upgraded incoloy elements.
