Q: will 12 gauge exisiting wire be ok for this heater? I replacing my old water heater and it was running on 12 gauge wire for years.... is this heater ok to run on 12 gauge or do I need to re run new wiring for it?

A: Il n'y a pas d'avantage entre l'arrivée d'eau dessus vs au dessous. Ils sont conçus de cette manière pour faciliter l'installation. Si vous remplacez une arrivée d'eau dessus avec une arrivée d'eau dessous, cela fait le replacement plus difficile et vice versa

Q: how can this water heater have 1.25 in of insulation is it has a stand by heat loss rating of 57 maybe the answer was mistaken for a gas water heater.1.25 of foam insulation sound to low
12 years agoA: This heater (40-gallon 12-year electric) does in fact have 2” of insulation so the standby heat loss is 57.

12 years agoA: It has 1.25” of insulation. This water heater is rated at 0.68 EF which is an excellent rating meeting Energy Star qualifications.
