Smart Shower off again

As so many others have written, I also have one installed and it has been off and not working multiple times in the past year. The in shower wall unit has been replaced and it came back to life. Two days later, off again. AC power is verified on and I used my meter to verify that there is 12 volts at the end of the power supply cord. I need to be able to rely on getting a shower each day before going to work. So frustrating and I don't see any good responses on this site, only we are sending you an email.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have had the two valve Moen U Smart Shower installed for 3 1/2 years now. Every time I step in, I am happy I did it. From a shower that stays a constant temperature to the ability to have it hot and ready when I step in plus the ability to play an occasional prank on a loved one (or hurry them along!), this product wows me. It was my first bathroom project, and I connected it successfully to 100-year-old galvanized in a completely rebuilt and retiled shower stall. It forced me to examine questions of longevity for a device that by design will likely be obsolete far sooner than a mechanical counterpart. Here’s the real bonus: by doing all the installation work myself, I got my landlord to pay for it!! :)

trouble since day 1

this product cuts off every 7-10 days....it takes me 5 minutes min. to reset it each time it cuts off (this past weekend i had to reset it 10 times!!!!!)....normally the screen just goes black....sometimes the screen looks normal but it will not work, so i have to reset it basically every 7-10 days at most....EVERYTHING on it has been replaced 3 times....still NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Love that the temperature can be set

I was sick of always heaving to wait for the water to get to the correct water temp. This Moen smart shower control keeps the water at a constant temperature no mater what. Then add in that I can now tell Alexa to turn on my shower as I am walking into my Master Bathroom is just a hole other type of special. I love this shower controller & valve. 4 Starts because it is expansive for everything needed to install it in the end. But I think it was worth it. A GREAT addition to my smart house.

Do not buy!

Twice in one week this has not turned on, requiring reset. There should be some type of back up option to allow you to bypass the smart valve so you can turn on your shower. If you have 2 showers in your home do not install this smart shower system in both! I would absolutely not buy this again!!!!
