Not good quality for the price after one year

Handle has never felt secure even though installed by plumber. I have tightened the hex screw but does not seem to firm up handle tightness to the base. I have meticulously wiped off the shiny chrome and put car wax on it (as suggested by the net) to deter water spots. Have soft water but still got a few places of spotting. I noticed one person got a new one due to spotting. Would not get shiny chrome again due to this susceptibility to water spots. Saw horrible photos on internet that's why I wipe and also apply car wax to handle and base. Design seems to be inherently loose-feeling.

Holds up extremely well

I've had Moen Faucets in my house for over 30 years. We're upgrading our bathroom and we chose Moen again. The Moen faucets we replaced we're still working fine we just decided to upgrade.

Terrible - Fails within a year

I built a new house a year ago, with the Eva Collection PB Trim. The Cartridge is completely blow. Hot water pouring out. Thanks Moen. Obviously, I wouldn’t recommend.

water just stopped

We installed the Moen T2131 BN about nine months ago. The water just shut off and no longer works. I talked with our plumber and he said the 1222 cartridge is likely shot already...after nine months?

Poor product information

This valve doesn't allow water to go above 100 degrees. It is expensive, and no where in product description does it tell this limiting feature. The gave is nice, durable, but this limiting factor is not good if you like hot water. I would not recommend their service either.

The Posi-Temp valve used with the T2131 is an anti-scald valve designed to prevent thermal shock. The Posi-Temp cartridge offers the broadest comfort zone, 90-110 degrees, while remaining compliant with all federal regulations for thermal shock. If the outlet temperature does not fall into the comfort zone, we recommend adjusting the temperature limit stop and/or adjusting your water heater thermostat.
