I bought this because I was replacing my old one due to a broken part. When I opened the package I noticed the piece I needed was previously used and broken already. :(

Works great now. Original cartridge didn’t work but after I replaced the cartridge it worked perfectly. The cartridge was replaced for me for free but not by Canadian Tire.

Q: How do you replace the cartridge when its been in there for 20 years???

A replacement cartridge comes with a removal tool which allows you to remove the cartridge. A: I have installed my own and it is not hard. As long as you can have easy access to the pipes. Make sure you put enought teflon tape not to have to take it apart because of leaks.
