A: Hi Forddude, Thanks for reaching out with your question. Mobil products are from new basestocks and fresh additive packages. Our lube plants do not use recycled oils. And yes, this product is produced in North America. kind regards, Mobil Products Advisor.

In contrast, Mobil Full Synthetic motor oil is for customers who want or need to upgrade from conventional to synthetic motor oil, but may not require the ultimate performance and protection of Mobil 1 motor oil for their particular vehicle. In addition, the suggested oil change interval for Mobil Full Synthetic motor oil is 12,000 km while Mobil 1 motor oil is 16,000km.
