We also bought this electric cooler, great for grocery shopping to keep items cold, for camping, traveling etc.... I like that it has multiple power source adapters, which makes it great to use in your vehicle, battery pack, own home. Works great & has ample room. Bonus is the metal exterior.

Q: If I leave this plugged into my vehicle overnight (the SUV will be turned off), will the cooler still run through the night? And if it does, will it drain my vehicle's battery?

A: The cigarette lighter outlet on my car stays live even when the car isn't running, but you'd have to plug something into yours and find out. We love the cooler but always pitch our tent at an electric RV site so the cooler has never run off the car battery for more than a few hours when the car isn't running. If your battery is good you are safe for over 8 hours in the summer. If you are concerned, you can also get a camping battery or a power bank.
