Disappointed in product

I am in the process of finishing cabinets, I have put 2 coats on them and am not happy at all. I am not getting the finish I am trying to achieve. Almost 2o years ago I used the same product or so I am being told from the store in which I purchased this product.
I am using now the premium oil fast drying polyurethane warm semi gloss and before I used the fast-drying polyurethane superior durability clear semi- gloss.
What I am trying to figure out has the product changed that much?
No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for your question. The "warm" will refer to the oil based polyurethanes we offer in our line of products. The oil based will amber and add a "warm" appearance to the wood. This is a label update and the product itself has not been changed. Sincerely, L.T., Customer Support Specialist

A: The smell is quite bad and not recommended for indoor use unless well ventilated. And it takes about a week before the smell goes away

Q: How long does it take to fully cure? Not just dry, but fully cure.

A: Hello. Thanks for asking. It depends on what type of project. For surfaces that will not be walked on, after the final coat, allow 24 hours before light use. When used on hardwood floors/stairs, avoid heavy traffic and replacing of furniture for 72 hours after final coat. Do not install rugs or clean floors for 7 days. Sincerely, Minwax Customer Support
