Q: can this pot be used on a glass top stove?

A: Yes it can, though go there is an advisory card telling you about the limitations with some stoves. Just be mindful of temperature. Don't cook hot with it. Once it boils, lower the heat to medium high. And never let it boil dry!

Q: Is this canner flat bottom or wavy?

A: It is not wavy, but is raised in the middle about a quarter inch. And the centre rise is round this is done to make sure the jars lean to the walls of the canner.
