Works great with a cotton wheel on a bench grinder or even using just a cloth and some elbow grease. Polishes almost any metal to a mirror finish

Q: I am trying to find a product similar to CRL Sparkle polishing compound which can be used to remove the film from windows. Would this work to clean cloudy windows?

    • A: Dear Customer, Thank you for your answer. The MIBRO cleaning and Polishing Compound #6 is designed for use on metal and we would not recommend this product for this application for the following reasons. The abrasive grit is carried in a wax which is applied to a cotton buff. The metal item to be polished is then brought to the bench grinder and held against the buff for cleaning and polishing. We would be very concerned for two reasons, wax carrier would be extremely difficult to remove from the window and assuming the buff would be on a drill that would be brought to the window -- pushing the buff against the window could cause it to crack. Sincerely, MIBRO Customer Care

    • A: To Canadian Tire, Why is no one answering these people requesting assistance? This is very bad P.R. to say the least. Without customers you have no company, no income, no jobs. Marie K.

Q: I lost the directions for all these compounds, but I am specifically looking for information on using #6. I'm pretty sure the compound and/or metal has to be warm in order to actually be able to use it correctly, but I need way more details than that!
