Started ok but didn't last

Ok at first. Then it lost its adhesion so I had to glue it in place. Now, a year later, the lights won't change to the colour instructed, will change colours at random while the remote doesn't even have a battery, and won't stay on more than a minute or two.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello Mac, thank you for your inquiry about one of our products. Yes, you can connect two strips together by using the connector pin included on the box indication that the LED strip is extendable. The maximum length of an LED strip should be 5 meters if you wish to connect 2 LED Strips. You can be able to extend the length of your LED Strip by connecting 2 strips end-to-end. Ideally, 1 LED Strip is equivalent to 3 meters and if you wish to extend the length of your device, we highly suggest purchasing the LED Strip Extension Kit which has a length of 2 meters to ensure that your set up won't be overpowered. Just want to add information as per your concern about connecting the Led light strips and if you have already the right Led strip that can be extended, we do not recommend more than 2 LED strip connected to each other to avoid overloading the electrical current flowing in it that may cause of insufficient power supply. We also want to prevent any electrical problem that may cause fire and any other causes that may affect your home.
