Q: Can I apply this in winter ? very cold conditions? no garage?
Anonymous5 years agoA: You can see the product speck . But the water may freeze when you clean and sand the head light. Try when temp is above 5c. Good luck

Q: Are you able to use this product during the winter if you do not have a garage? I live in northern Alberta and my headlights on my 1993 Mazda have seen their fair share of scratches. Am I able to apply this product to my headlights in weather that is on average -25*C during the winter?
13 years agoA: I wouldn't as you need to apply water to the 3000 grit sandpaper. Most likely will freeze. Check out Meguires website for more details including video on how to apply this product.

Q: How long does the restoration last? Do I have to keep doing this year after year?
5 years agoA: The length of the restoration will vary depending on how often you use your vehicle, where you park, and other environmental factors. You would ultimately have to keep doing this year over year because headlights become yellow and foggy after being exposed to UV rays.

Q: Are the sanding discs able to be put onto the drill attachment? Or does the sanding all have to be done by hand?
7 years agoA: The sanding steps in this kit are done by hand and there is no attachment to use them with a drill.

Q: If there is just a bit of haze on top part of the headlight plastic area but rest is clear is this product still ok to use or will it degrade the clear part at all?
7 years agoA: There is no harm in using this kit on the entire headlight even on parts that appear clear. Be sure to use the Headlight Protectant (that comes in the kit) to ensure lasting protection.
