Successful “hard to detail” curves and tight locations.

I’m just a guy in a garage, not a professional. I used these pads on my 3” hook pad (3M Headlight Polishing Kit Pad) I used them for the odd places polishing and waxing front and rear facia over bumpers, and used various polish products. These pads are very good for these difficult locations. The curved perimeter and the tapered edges make these an awesome tool to polish those difficult curves and odd shapes around fog lights and tail lights. I had already worked these facia, then I remembered these pads and decided to try them on my drill with the 3” pad. The improvements over my previous work was … impressive !! So why did I only give 4 of 5? One pad separated the pad from the hook loop backing on the first washing. These would be so much better if the adhesive would not fail at washing. PS - I am still using the separated pad since I washed all thoroughly, fully dried and used clear silicone for the adhesive replacement. Don’t know if it will work, but it has survived one usage and thorough washing since I did the repair.
