I used this for the next step after starting my seeds in my aerogarden. Be careful to not overfill the cell too much with soil, the water will just flow off the tray instead of into your little plant cell.

Q: What is the depth of each seedling pocket?

A: Each pocket is about 4 inches deep. I filled each about 2/3 with potting mix and only the top third with seedling mix. Seemed to work. Shape seems to allow for easy removal of seedlings.

Q: Will the 21 cell tray fit in the 059-4570-0 McKenzie tray? It looks like the dimensions are the same but the height is a little to short.

A: The 21 cell tray is 10.8” x 21.23”. A jiffy dome is 11” x 22”. The dome will fit on the 21 cell tray.
