False Claims

McGard claims that these will not rust or peel over their lifetime however, these had surface rust straight out of the sealed box. Also, the set that I've had for almost 6 years now have all rusted and are peeling. So maybe these claims can be true but definitely outside of the "Rust Belt." These were used in Eastern Ontario. I don't think that the rust has gotten to the point where it degrades the product. I'm still using the older set this year but they look horrible.

The other two reviews by the same person are silly and unwarranted and the reviewer clearly does not understand what product reviews are about. The fact he got open greasy ones is an issue with the store, not the product. They are lug nuts and work perfect on my 2006 Titan.

Receive 2 open sets packed with grease

I know these Mcgard lug nuts are great. Canadian tire I bought them from are not great. Edmonton Windermere. Bought them curb side pick up. Didn’t check them initially. Got home and 2 packages were opened and used. I say whatever they will be used anyway. Upon further inspection the threads in each lug nut for a total of 8 were all packed with grease. So I don’t know how safe that is to install on your car but your definitely gonna loose some wheels. Spending the evening cleaning these lug nuts. I thought I was buying new. Make sure you just go in the store and look at what your buying and make sure they are sealed. Won’t be back.
