Just purchased the top and matching bottom chest. Super impressed with everything. Packaging was great, everything is wrapped in plastic to prevent scratches during transport. Seems like a pretty solid unit, drawers, lid all feel good. The latches on every drawer are super handy, no more drawers opening on their own. $2,000 on sale for upper and bottom but worth it imo, will never need another tool box. Tons of storage.

Q: Where do I find instructions online to take off Butcher block when combining both top and bottom of maximum tool chest?

A: Actually you don't need to remove the wood top for combination. If you really want to remove it, please refer to page 7 of the manual. As the manual stated, you need to remove some drawers and loosen the screws from the wood top first.

Q: What's the spacing between the holes in the back panel? I'd like to use peg board hooks in them to hang things.
