Love this shovel . Should have bought two. The handle is fatter which makes it ergonomically perfect for your hand, and the actual shovel part has a lip on the top end which helps to hold more dirt or stone or whatever you’re digging.

Not worth the price! So don't buy this!

It doesn't even cut through the grass when you step onto it to dig a hole. So you need to sharpen the tip of the shovel just to be able to to that. I do no recommend buying this.

Q: Is this shovel suitable for digging holes for fence posts?

A: I would recommend using a post hole digger or Auger (Links attached below). The round point shovel is designed for digging but not specifically for post holes.
