Very good work bench

Purchased for my 3D printer set up and I am quite pleased. It is sturdy, and easy to assemble. Solid top and fits well. It.does not come with nylon lock nuts, but that's to be expected and easily fixed as the regular movements of the printer may loosen the nuts over time. Would definitely reccomend.buying one, especially if on sale

Painful assembly but good final product

Bought December 2025.
Took 2 hours, an "adjustment" hammer, drill & metal bit and a bunch of aggravation to put it together, smaller fingers would have also been helpful.
Now that it is assembled, it is quite nice. Seems sturdy, drawers work well, Looks good. and as it is not being used right now the cat loves the lower shelf.
The box had minor damage but I didnt think it was severe. Some pieces were bent at the point where the holes should line up which required the adjustment hammer & vice grips.
I work with plans and drawings every day. If I did not have this experience it would probably still be in parts on the basement floor, instructions were very lacking. I am over 6' and found the assembled height very comfortable, most items are lower than this, if you are shorter you should verify the dimensions will work for you.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not well packaged

Purchased on recent sale, brought home my 1st to find several panels dented and damaged. And the wooden top cracked... Had to return. Got the best one on hand at the store (box in best condition), but that one has scratches also from the parts rubbing through the packages. Called the store and they suggested another return or they offered $16 as an alternative

Brought this home began assembling and drawer slider was assembled backwards. Returned and checked new bench in store, with manager’s assistance, and the same problem. Buyer beware

Q: What is the dimension between the bottom shelf and the drawers? And also the width between the centre support bar and the side. I want to make sure my drawer organizer will fit.

A: Distance from lower shelf to underside of top drawer is 19 1/2 inches. I would allow a bit more as a fudge factor. From the inside of the outer vertical post to the inside of the centre post is 16 inches.

Q: Are there any detailed instructions on putting the drawers together? I can't seem to get the drawers together properly, fold up the sides but do the sides go on the inside or outside of the front of the drawer....nothing seems to be working..

A: Yes. I’ve got a small clamp on vise. Thiers just over 2” metal brace on top of drawers. Very handy bench. But a lot of nuts and bolts too put it together.

Q: Can the top table can be trimmed? I need it to be in level of the drawers or an inch longer. It seems poking out with these single picture the have here.

A: The front edge sticks out beyond the plane of the drawers by about 3". I would strongly recommend against trying to trim the edge. I suppose that you could do it, but finding another bench of the right size would be a much better idea. You could even find one with a similar or smaller base, and build a custom top to the size you require.

A: The instructions provided are sufficient for assembly. The tricky part is making sure you follow the instructions for the drawers closely. Need the correct tools to get into the corners. Access is tight for big hands. Put mine together in about 2 hours.

Q: I’m not thrilled with the bamboo top, it seems to be cracking a bit along the joints and seams. Would the top take a couple of coats of a hard varathane ?

A: I have not needed to do this with mine; however, in my opinion, the Varathane should harden the service and do the trick. I think I will go the same route as a preventive measure.
