    Fantastic Tool Belt

As a service technician I know the importance of having a good tool belt. The pockets are the perfect size for holding all of the tools you might need and with the magnetic front you will always have the fasteners easily available. The belt itself is nice and wide and the quick release clip makes is a fantastic feature. An addition benefit is the large front pocket is the perfect size for your favorite coffee cup. My only problem was that my wife keeps steeling it to use with her projects.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

found this tool belt quite handy when I was laying my decking was able to keep it on my hip rather than in front which stopped everything falling out when getting up and down

    Not for the Professional

I would recommend this tool belt for the D.I.Y. home handyman. While great as a pouch for nails screws or fasteners, it lacks the capacity to hold a good number of tools and the hammer clip in my opinion is poorly placed. (This is the first bad review I have ever had to do, still a fan of Canadian tire I just think this one is a miss)

No, I do not recommend this product.

Has that unusually robust, chunky feel.

Big props here mostly go to the overall build quality. While it is ballistic nylon and not leather it just has a certain feel about it I like. The fact that its generously heavy material, the seams that are stitched completely through and not slimmed down, or the hammer bracket, steel and riveted through the entire bag. It just gives it an overall profile that really doesn't feel cheap at all. While this does mean that pokes and cuts may lead to more wear, how I use it I don't frequently tote a lot of screws or sharp objects, so your mileage may vary. In my case, its often kept mostly empty, a quick pocket to drop a cordless drill into, extra batteries, testing tools and other things, and often dozens of other odd parts to try to make a unique job a little more streamlined. I can really say in that regard, its fantastically handy, sort of like having your first pair of cargo pants all over again. You really can toss a lot in there and when adjusted properly it hangs rather comfortably off your hips and it clips on and off easily and quickly...which is a big bonus when you find yourself having to drive frequently between jobs. One thing I can say I don't much care for...the magnetic pouch/pad on it isn't particularly strong. It could hold a few nails though, if you needed a place to park them before grabbing your hammer. Things I do like? That steel hammer bracket is also a fantastic place to clip things to. Keys, carabiners, d-rings. Especially when you're climbing a lot its nice to have these in a handy place you don't have to dig around to find and can focus on staying safe instead.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Does what it needs to do

Already having the larger version of this belt, I find myself using this on more. It is not as bulky or heavy and fits more comfortably. While it certainly depends on the task I find this has become my go to tool belt.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
