not so good

The case could be better, doesnt hold everything well. The water cooling unit is a poor design and does not stick well to tile. The bit jumps around quite a bit on startup. Its a slow go drilling through the tile. I was not pleased with this product.

Diamond hole saw

I used the diamond hole saw kit on a recent bathroom renovation. I drilled all the holes thru 1/4 inch tiles on the tubsurround. No problems in creating a pilot hole for the larger cuts for the faucet, or drilling the mounting holes for showerhead and safty bars.
The selfwatering guide with suctioncups is a great idea but only worked on very smooth surfaces. On the tiles it repeatedly lost it's grip so I ended up using a spray bottle with water.
The bits provided a good cut and were easily started at a slight angle when not using the guide.
Yes, I recommend this product.
