The carbide-tipped saws cut through wood with ease, even in damp contexts.     A good quality tool for deeper cuts. They work better than any hole saw bits that I have used in the past. They should last many years.

    Needed something to enlarge a whole in a front door due to a broken deadbolt. The standard bimetal saws could not do the job through the metal skins on both sides of the door, this could. Take your time and be patient and with will cut nicely through. I only was able to test the 2-1/8" hole saw, not the others.. For the regular price of the kit that was paid for it was worth it to me, a sale price would been amazing and good to pick up to have as part of your tool box. I look forward to making more use of it when that day comes.

    Q: Can these drill through masonry? Specifically a 2.5inch hole

    • A: These hole Saws are designed for wood. I wouldn't recommend trying to drill through masonry with them.
