While a very nice tool box the sheet metal, although stainless steel, is on the thin side. The large top drawer tends to flex more than I’d like and is best opened with 2 hands. It also makes locking it a bit inconsistent, it’s difficult to get all the drawers lined up. For a home tool box it’s fine, but I wouldn’t want this in a commercial shop.

Très belle armoire et solide. Je croyais que les tiroirs seraient un peu plus robuste par contre. Effectivement, comme dans quelques commentaires, les tiroirs pourraient être plus profond (plus que 20po) et plus hauts. Les tiroirs minces le sont peut-être un peu trop. Ça dépend cependant du type d'outils qu'on veut y ranger. Pour ma part, plus des outils à bois qui sont possiblement plus volumineux qu'un outil de mécanique en général. En spécial, c'est un bon achat, mais au plein prix, un peu cher.

Pre-assembly was a huge plus; it arrived ready to use without the typical hassle of building from scratch (just bolt the wheels on). The packaging was excellent and protected the unit well during transport. The top compartment is impressively spacious and provides plenty of room for larger tools or equipment. The pricing is competitive compared to similar units on the market, and getting it on sale made it an even better deal. Areas for Improvement: My main complaint is that the unit arrived missing keys for the locking compartments, which was disappointing. Additionally, one bolt required for wheel assembly was absent from the hardware kit. These missing items required me to source replacements before I could fully set up and use the chest as intended. (will contact CT & waiting to sort out this issue) Final Thoughts: Despite the missing components, this is a solid tool chest unit that delivers on quality and functionality. I'd recommend it, especially on sale, but I'd suggest double-checking your hardware kit upon delivery to catch any missing items early.

Hard to rate, the product seems good, smooth drawers even when loaded, I like how each drawer locks. I've had smooth closing drawers before, they sometimes like to open on their own, moving the unit, or unlevel floor. So a 5 stars here, at the consumer level. But I had the experience where the first unit delivered, top drawer wouldn't open, a defect. Even though I paid for delivery, needed to load the back to the store to get a new one. Then the new one was dented, not badly but sucks. Packaging not robust enough for handling a +300lb unit. Although Canadian Tires warranty procedure was good. Called the 1-800 number, sent video, RMA was issued. I even received a follow-up, where CT refunded the delivery charges. So credit is due here. If you want to potentially avoid issues, almost need to open in store. Dents hard to see under the protective film. Buy only on sale, I'm satisfied now, sometimes life isn't perfect.
