Cuts well but consider rotation direction

I bought the blade depicted per web site today but it should be noted that the pic and blade at store have the wrong rotation markings on the face of it. Quality control issue at the factory but CTC management should be aware of this. Cutting incorrectly could cause damage or harm. Rotation has to go in manner as indicated on the saw, so this blade (per depiction) has to be reversed when put on arbor shaft of saw. Experimentation showed reversed blade face and thus rotation per direction called for on saw, did better job.

Better than a chop saw

I went through a few setups to try and get clean square cuts on a variety of mild steel forms (flat bar, tubing, etc) without spending a lot. I was really disappointed with how poorly a chop saw performed on flat bar, it took forever and the wheel wore down quickly.
This thing blew me away on its first use. It cut right through 1/8 flat bar (laying flat so the blade has lots of contact) in seconds. There’s also no fine dust like you get from abrasive disks. No idea how long it will last, but it’s by far the best solution I’ve tried for a simple home workshop.

Sturdy plunge cuts with circular saw

Sturdy blade cuts metal cladding true. Easy to plunge cut in metal. A good accessory to have for straight cuts in light tubing and metal sheet goods. NOTE: directional arrows on my blade were printed backwards. Know your saw rotation when installing.
