The MAXIMUM 6’ GFCI Extension Cord features an ergonomic design for its fully grounded plug and receptacle setup, as well as a power indicator light for each of its 3 available outlets. Whenever an outlet is active and powered, the associated indicator light will turn on. This durable extension cable is SJEOW rated for outdoor use, which means the cord is capable of withstanding both extreme heat and extreme cold. The power cable also features a striped design for higher visibility when weather conditions are difficult, and is safe to use in temperatures as low as -50°C (-58°F). The extension wire’s 3-tap design can allow you to power 3 tools or accessories at the same time, so you can prepare your workstation for difficult multi-tool projects. This MAXIMUM cord’s 3 outlets utilize a GFCI plug that can detect interruptions or fluctuations in power, and cut it off at the source to provide added safety for users. Overall, this outdoor extension cord is 6’ (1.8 m) long, and boasts a thick wire gauge of 14 AWG.

Was nice to have a GFI splitter longer than 18" for once. The cord end was nice and tight, so cords did not pull out easily. Was flexible in the cold, but being only 6', flexibility wasn't really a worry. Only problem I had was if you had to plug into a deep box that was not already GFI protected. The GFI device is on the cord end, so it is bulky. Won't fit inside a box to plug in, and is thick enough that you won't be able to plug something else in next to it. Would be perfect if the GFI device was 6" into the cord so you had more flexibility to plug it in anywhere.

This product allows you to provide Ground Fault protection to any circuit that is not normally protected this way including Generator outputs and comes with a handy 3-way plug.

A: Yep! A mini fridge uses less than 15 amps so you're good. We got this one for our kitchen fridge and it's doing just fine.
