Looks great. Doesn’t work

Went through two brand new units, would fire up and fill the tank successfully, only once. Compressor does not have enough power to refill the tank unless it is completely 100% empty. Even then, it does it very slowly ( but it is truly quiet relative to any others I’ve used).
I thought the first purchase was a dud, so I got a replacement which was very easy to do at the store ( do not call the 1-800 number in the manual, They have no idea, tried to send it in for repair to a store 7 hours away). 2nd unit, exact same issue. Tried all the trouble shooting methods but same problem. Returned the 2nd unit for a refund and purchased from another store/brand.
Was really hoping to have success, as the form factor is great on this unit but the important parts are definitely not great.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Compact and quiet

Replaced a 30 gallon older unit (not quiet) in my shop which had almost double the rated cfm so I thought I'd take a big hit on performance but I wanted the quiet. After using it for a while I'm not convinced my old one was much better yet this one is night-and-day quieter!

Q: Has anyone used this compressor to blowout irrigation lines?

A: Yes I use mine to empty my irrigation lines. I turn pressure down to about 40 psi. I use about a full tank of air to empty lines in each zone. I take my time and let the compressor cool down between the zones to not overheat. I have blown out my lines for 2 seasons now. It works great.

A: You can definitly leave the compressor "full", or at maximim pressure. It will likely drop in pressure if the unit is not plugged in, but it's totaly safe to leave it as is after use. If the motor is humming, but not actually running, then that is abnormal and should be looked into further.

Q: At what pressure should this compressor stop at? Mine keeps running and does not shut off, pressure was up to 160 PSI before i shut it off manually.

A: Air compressors typically have an adjustable shut off. One of guages should be for that purpose. Check manual on how to change/adjust its pressure regulator.

Q: Considering a Maximum 15 gallon quiet compressor. What is the SCFM on this unit? Plan to use it at about 90 to 100PSI.

A: The label on the tank says 4 CFM at 90 psi. I consider the 5cfm at 40 psi irrelevant. It doesn't struggle to keep up under steady frequent use.

A: Tank is a little small for things like die grinders, cut off tool or air hammers. If you're only doing it once in a while it's fine, but long term use wouldn't be suggested.
