Velcro scratches skin

My daughter finds these comfortable except for the strap - she has to tighten them more than they should be so that the sharper velcro side doesn’t scrape her skin. The design should be modified.

These shin pads were the perfect choice for my 4 year old. He slide tackles with the utmost confidence knowing that he will come out on top. Those other 4 year olds know to watch out for my kid or risk breaking an ankle. 5 stars

Q: What age group is peewee and junior?

1 Answer

A: Peewee would be roughly ages 4-7 and Junior would be 6-12. Saying that, it still depends on the kids’ size. I would recommend going in store to determine a good fit. Typically, you want the shin guard to cover the most vulnerable part of the shin. However, you want to leave at least 3-4 inches from the bottom of the knee cap.

Q: My son is eight what size Olof shin pads do I need in the matrix brand youth or peewee?also what size for the addias soccer socks ?

A: This will depend on the height of the child. Shin guard should sit 2 inches below the knee and 1 inch above the shoe line. Socks will depend on the size of the child’s shoe size. This is noted on the packaging. I would highest suggest trying them on at the store.
