Very weak backboard!

Lasted one summer and then the backboard shattered the following spring. An 11 yr old boy uses it almost daily. Plastic material is not durable.

Backboard will Break

Wheels for transport broke first day and backboard cracked a year later and immediately turned to a big hole in backboard. Poor quality backboard!

A: The size and mounting mechanism of the deluxe board is different from all the Matrix basketball systems, It's not possible to use this backboard as a replacement.

Q: Has anyone purchased a bracket that is compatible with this? Spot we’re planning to attach this to does not allow us to,mount this straight to the wall, it’s angled and not flat.

A: Unfortunately we do not have a bracket that is compatible at this time. The Matrix backboards are designed to mount directly to the wall.

Q: Matrix Deluxe Basketball Backboard & Rim, 44-in Product #184-0143-2 Deceptive to say it comes with mounting hardware, only with a few bolts to fasten it directly to a wall. I bought a Spalding Universal bracket to help me mount it - not compatible. Help!
