Product Details

Depend on the Mastercraft Tube Cutter, 3 to 30 mm, for cleaner, intuitive cuts on metal tubes. Made of superior zinc alloy, the tubing tool is engineered for quality performance and toughness. This adjustable tube cutter looks like a wrench and has an anti-slip knob for swift rotating twists. Its other end features a sharp, high-speed steel blade for professional-grade cuts. The blade has a high-quality black oxide finish to resist corrosion. The cutter wheel is easily replaceable with an extra 18 mm cutting blade provided in the handle. Lastly, the cutter has a retractable deburrer that ensures pipes and tubes are cut smoothly without leaving any rough edges. This cutting tool has a cutting capacity of 3 to 30 mm.

Cuts curtain rods great. Just tighten in small adjustments so as not to bend rod out of round. Easy does it and you will be happy. Works on copper plastic and thin metal.

Q: does it cut steel pipe?

A: Yes, it can but, it would depend on the steel. For example a Shower Curtain Road being hallow and of softer material can be cut. For the most part tubular pipes can be cut. For heavy gauges and harder metals the use of a Hacksaw may be more appropriate to use.
