Very happy with this saw. Used it for baseboards and trim, therefore upgraded the blade to one specific for that task.

A: This model does not include an LED light system or laser guide.

Q: Can the cutting depth be restricted? E.g. can the blade be set to stop 1cm / 0.5" above the table?

A: All Mastercraft saws are equipped with a depth adjustment screw. Please see your owner's manual for location. You can easily set the required depth, and thereafter set it back to cut through other material.
