Q: Can this type of hook be installed in a concrete ceiling? If not, what do you recommend?

A: It can but used for wood or drywall provided there is a wood stud behind it but unfortunately it will not work for concrete.

Q: Can it go into dry wall directly ?

A: We recommend in the studs as the drywall is not designed to hold as much weight and if you put a bike on the hook in drywall it would likely come down.
