Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Can this be used for cleaning up hard-to-reach welding spatter on mild steel?

1 Answer
  • A: Well, here's the $35 answer: nope. The carbide flakes just fly off the bit and wear it bare. Mind you, nothing on the package suggests it can be used on steel, but I thought I would try it. That being said, if any of the electric multi-tool manufacturers ever built a file tip for this purpose I would buy dozens of them!
