The air filter features a transparent bowl that allows for real-time monitoring of the internal fluid level, as well as a manual drain for easy disposal of the filter’s contents. got one for airbrushing

I wanted to attach it to my compressor but the fitting I can cat are not long enough and it hits the tank and can't be installed level, so I connected it to my airbrush hose and put a guick connect on the input, works fine even at about 26 psi the airbrush operates at.

Q: Do you carry the modular bracket for this filter, as indicated in its instruction booklet? In the instructions that come with this filter, there's a diagram illustrating where to insert it into your air line setup, and it depicts no. 6, a modular bracket, between the filter and regulator.

A: The Mastercraft Mini General-Purpose Filter does not come with the modular bracket. In the instruction diagram, it’s there to help instruct a consumer where to insert the filter.

Q: Mini air filter does not seem to be working. I installed the mini air filter at the compressor and an inline desiccant filter to get rid of the water. After 1 week of using my air brush, the desiccant filter needed recharging and the mini air filter did not filter any water.

A: To ensure that the product is truly not working correctly, we need to clarify a few things. First, can you ensure the product is installed correctly with the “air inlet” connected to the compressor. Second, can you ensure the filter is positioned correctly with the air flow direction arrow facing upright. Last, can you confirm the working pressure of your compressor? I have a Master-craft 26 gallon compressor.. should i use a 3/8 filter or a 1/4 for this... i already bought a Master-craft Mini General-Purpose Filter.. this has a 1/4 inlet/outlet ... will this make a difference?

A: This is 1/4“ mini air filter, suitable for 1/4" NPT inlet /outlet. For the customer mentioned 26gal compressor, we want to confirm if the sku number is 199-8556 or 199-5705, those two need to use ½” air filter.

Q: why when i hooked it up to my compressor does it leak air at bottom thru the water release tap

A: When air pressure is lower than 2KGS(30PSI),drainage system of air mini filter will release water automatically. When air pressure is higher than 2KGS(30PSI),drainage system of air mini filter will shut off automatically. In other words,just starting the air compressor,air pressure is lower than 30psi,so it is normal that drainage system leaks air. After starting air compressor for 2-3 minutes,drainage system of air mini filter will shut off automatically. If it still leak air at this situation,this indicate seal ring of drainage system is broken.

Q: would this quickly connect and disconnect from my 1/4'' air tool inlet? as well as into a 3/4" air line with no further modifications?

A: No, this item will not quickly connect/disconnect. It is meant as a stationary inline filter. It should not be mounted directly to an air tool. It has ¼” NPT ports for connections; only plugs and adapters of this size will be able to screw into it.

Q: Would this filter work with the Campbell-Hausfeld 3-gallon compressor (58-7956-8)? I just purchased this compressor, but when I got home, I realized that I would need a water filter (as one is not included) to paint my model kits.
