From auto body work to woodworking, count on the Mastercraft Air Dual Action Sander, 5-in. This air powered sander features a dual-action, oscillating motion of 10,000 RPM, resulting in a swirl-free finish. A through-the-handle vacuum extraction system allows for easy cleanup when using this air sander; simply store the dust in the dust collection bag. A soft rubber grip makes it easy to comfortably hold this dual action air sander, while a built-in regulator keeps the device running smoothly. Lightweight composite housing makes it easy to reposition this pneumatic sander. This device has heat-treated steel components and a low vibration design. A screened inlet prevents dirt particles from entering the air intake on this air compressor sander. This sander comes with a 1/4” NPT plug, a dust collection bag, a suction pipe, a 5” sanding pad (vinyl and vacuum type), an adjusting wrench, and a bottle of oil.

Q: Does this accept Hook-and-Loop sanding discs? I have a lot of 5-inch hook-and-loop (velcro) sanding discs. Can I use them for this sander? How many holes does the sanding pad have?
9 years agoA: Yes, the Mastercraft Air Dual Action Sander can be used with 5" hook-and-Loop sanding discs. As for the pad, it has eight holes.

Q: Cfm@90psi What is the air consumption. Most DA sanders are over 10 cfm at 90 psi...why is this one only 2.8? Sounds too good to be true.
12 years agoA: The data 10cfm is error , and each test instrument's data is not same, and Ingersoll rand only 4 CFM,our data is only for reference of air compressor.
