The Mastercraft 1/2-in Stubby Impact Wrench is designed to quickly and efficiently remove stubborn lug nuts during general automotive or workshop assembly work. Equipped with a jumbo hammer mechanism, this stubby impact wrench has a short shape, allowing it to access narrow areas which cannot be reached by a standard impact wrench. Powerful and robust, this air wrench delivers up to 450 ft-lb of torque (8500 RPM) and can tighten or remove stubborn nuts and bolts up to 5/8”. A 3-position regulator lends precise speed and torque control to this air impact wrench. The ergonomic rubber grip helps to reduce hand fatigue during extended use of the air tool, while handle exhaust allows you to direct exhaust air away from the work area. This product includes an air-powered impact wrench, a 1/4” NPT plug, a hex wrench, and a bottle of oil.

Q: What is the max torque in reverse!!
5 years agoA: No way is the reverse torque 700 ft lbs (as per answer below). It won't take off lug nuts torqued to ~90 ft lbs, so it's a light duty unit.

Q: What kind of compressor do I need to get this working flawless? Would a 3 gallons do?

Q: Could it be used with an air system of 3.5cfm @ 90 psi?
5 years agoA: This impact wrench has a recommended CFM Requirement of 3.5 CFM @ 90 PSI so would be able to work with your system. Please note air inlet is ¼” NPT.

Q: What are the dimensions of the tool? In particular, the length between the tip of the anvil and the back of the housing? What is the weight? This is important information when comparing the product to similar "stubby" air tools in the same category.
6 years agoA: The dimensions of the tool is 118mm*177mm*58mm(4.65"*6.97"*2.28"),weight is 1.45kg (3lb3oz). The length of the tip of the anvil to the back of the housing is 112 mm (4.4”)
