Q: Si j'ai une porte de 9 pied et que je prend celui si. Ece que je peu le couper et raccourcir la chaîne pour faire une course de 9pied?

A: Il n'est pas nécessaire de couper le rail et la chaîne pour obtenir 9', vous pouvez utiliser l'extension de 10' telle quelle, et vous pouvez régler la porte pour qu'elle s'ouvre aussi loin que vous le souhaitez, vous avez le pied supplémentaire de rail pour travailler. La coupe du rail et de la chaîne doit être assez précise et ne vaut pas le travail supplémentaire, sauf si vous êtes limité sur la distance à laquelle vous pouvez installer la tête du moteur au plafond s'il y a des obstructions.

3 years agoA: You could but you don’t have to. Just use the stop location setting for your door hight, the door will not travel the full length of the track.

Q: will this fit the chamberlin 1/2 chain model with square tubing. it looks identical except the and piece on the chain
5 years agoA: No, the 046-0587 extension is for the Mastercraft model 046-0265 only and will not fit the Chamberlain rail system. The size and shape of the tubes are different and won’t fit together.

Q: my garage door opener comes with a chain and a cable , the chain is too short to fit the rail assembly . How do I connect the chain and cable together properly so chain is in correct position to raise the door ?
6 years agoA: When using the 10’ extension kit, you no longer use the original cable/chain; you replace the chain and cable assembly with the full chain that comes with the extension kit. If the chain is tight to wrap around the motor sprocket, you can separate the turnbuckle coupler that joins the chain together, wrap the chain around the motor sprocket and then couple the turnbuckle together.
