This us a great multimeter for home use. I purchased this when my old Mastercraft meter died. I thought I would prefer an analog meter to my old digital one. I ended up returning this to get something with more features. This works great for what it does and will serve most hobiests quite nicely.

Confusing, and hard to read. Just wanted to find out what my trailer batteries were at voltage wise but just put the thing back in the box after trying every switch position. Must have got a lemon.

A: This multimeter should not be used to test a car battery. Unfortunately, the multimeters found in the electrical category will not work to test car batteries. The multimeters located in the automotive category might be able to perform this function.
