Solid Blade Set

High quality blades with all pieces needed to finely adjust cut width. Cuts are clean and accurate. Instructions are decent, and unused parts can be stored tidily in wooden storage box.

Q: The package states that the blade is an " expandable set that easily adjusts to make precision flat bottom cuts and grooves". The blade I have does not make flat bottomed cuts. How do I adjust the blade set to do this?

A: This issue is most likely due to user error during installation of the DADO set. Please see below link and explanation for more information. The two main blades are not interchangeable. They must be installed with the highest tip on the teeth facing outwards. This will create a uniform and flat-bottomed cut. If the blades are reversed the bottom of the cut will have varying heights. A: The spacers are 1/8” thick, so it would be increments of 1/8” (3.175mm). Instructions in English and French are available. Please call our office for a copy at 1-800-387-8803. We do recommend you swipe the wood through the blade for final width accuracy, but this has been the rule of thumb.
