The Mastercraft 8 ¼” General-Purpose Carbide-Tipped Circular Saw Blade features large carbide tips that retain their sharpness longer than a steel blade. This durable saw blade features multiple heat expansion slots in order to contend with the buildup of heat during cuts, reducing blade vibration and increasing overall precision. This 40-tooth blade is designed to make smooth cross-cuts through all types of wood, and the blade is easy to attach to any compatible electric saw. A fully hardened steel body provides this Mastercraft saw blade with additional stability for true precision balance, and allows it to reach speeds of up to 6000 RPM. The carbide-tipped edges of this circular saw blade can last up to 60x longer than a similar steel saw blade, meaning fewer replacements over the course of your project. It also has an anti-kickback shoulder to prevent unwanted jostling and keep you safer during cuts through rough materials.

9 years agoA: No, it is designed for wood. We manufacture a 10” blade for you in the Maximum line that will cut single sided laminate: 54-1386 MX 10"80T Circ Lmint MAXIMUM 10 Inch 80-Tooth Non-Stick Coated Single-Sided Laminate/Melamine Circular Saw Blade The issue would be the grind and the glue. Wood cutting blades have an ATB grind with around a 15 degree hook and Single-Sided Laminate blades have a TCG grind and a 5 degree hook angle. The TCG grind allows the blade to smoothly cut through the laminate. The ATB would tend to get hung up and try to chew through the laminate. It would cut it, but now smooth.
