Very nice and well built unit

I purchased both the top and bottom units on sale and I am very impressed with it so far. This is a very nice looking and solid tool box. It comes almost fully assembled which is really nice (only had to install the casters and handle. The only issue I have is that I am 5'9 and a half and the unit comes up to my chin, so I have to get on the tip of my toes to see in the top compartment!! It makes me feel a little shorter, but I can live with that.

maybe for home, not for shop

bought this on sale and was very disapointed when i took it to my work and found out a few days later that other mastercraft keys were able to unlock this box. I found out the hard way though and some of my expensive Mitutoyo precision tools went missing and some were damaged over a weekend shift i was not present for. Had i known keys were interchangeable, I never would have purchased this at any price. It's an alright box, mind you the drawers arent that heavy duty and dont like to even stay shut.. you have to push them all in and then lock it and hope for the best i guess. I will be returning this item . extremely upset to say the least

A: I would say it was between 75 and 100 pounds empty. It was a two man job getting it into and out of the truck.

A: The height with casters is 40.7” and the casters are 5”, so it would be 35".

Q: how to take apart a Mastercraft tool chest we have a Mastercraft tool chest and something has become jammed in one of the drawers so it won't open and it is affecting the drawer above it as well. We can't see how to take the drawers out to remove the jammed item.
