3 of 4 units purchased were great. Fourth unit was missing 4 of the 16 required "pole" pieces to stack shelf. Manufacturer (accenthome.com) has not responded to 3 attempts to contact (2 on-line, 1 by phone).

Q: What are the shelves made of? We have these shelves inside our home, and we have a newborn in our home. There is an odour coming from the room these shelves are in and we wonder if it's the shelves themselves that smell.

A: I have the same issue and i called Blue Planet (Gracious Living) and what they told me is try to wash it (i did), try use febreze (I did) or give it time. This is awful they smell like used oil. I bought 2 and the smell in that room is unbearable. I have to close the door and open the window all the time. I wish that someone would give a solution or acknowledge the problem.

A: Height between shelves is 15 inches. Shelves can't be adjusted and you can't leave one out to increase the height.
