Don’t buy it!

had a gas snowblower for years, 212cc it was my little warrior, but like all things, it was getting long in the tooth, parts were scarce, with the advancements in battery technology, and electric motors, i believed the hype and purchased this model… first snow fall of the year, epic fail. A hint of slightly packed, heavier than normal snow, this thing will shut down. Tried a less dense spot, same thing, got maybe a foot farther and shut down..Not sure what Canadian winter it was tested for…what a purchasing mistake Now comes the challenge of trying to get my money back, which I’m certain will be equally a disappointing event.

horrible snow blowers

This is a terrible snowblower. It didn't work basically out of the box. I used it twice, and it stopped spinning. I had a really horrible experience with customer service. They insisted that because it was outside the 30-day window, I needed to use the warranty. The customer service representative was unwilling to entertain an exchange for the product. I had purchased it 42 days prior.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great product with one problem

Light and easy to manipulate, but powerful, and with a battery that lasts. The only problem is that removing the batteries is very difficult with mitts or gloves on, and without mitts, hands are too cold to grip much, so still difficult.

Good Compact Machine For Small Jobs

Been very helpful for the recent snow. Does a fair job with wet snow and provides full coverage for a two car driveway with extension on a single charge. Good size though I wish the handle would fold down more easily. The exit chute needs to be manually turned as it is very stiff and the included handle is too flimsy to turn it. The universal battery system is a big plus and very convenient for yard work.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Battery snowblower

Not a bad snowblower for light snow and smaller driveways; there is a lot of power in this machine but it is more in line for a power shovel then a full snowblower. This is not designed for heavy snowfalls or long driveways; unless you want to recharge half way thru. It is a decent machine with a lot of power but it is designed for smaller driveways and smaller snowfalls

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: What voltage does the electric motor run at? 20 volts or (the batteries hooked up in parallel) or 40 volts ( the combine battery voltages in series).

1 Answer
  • A: Dunno.  But both batteries need to be in to run it, and it has enough power to throw heavy wet snow, or crusty snow with ice chunks.  Worked fine all last winter.

Q: I have a double driveway and I only got one side blown out, and when turn it off to go up the other side, it didn't turn back on again. I took the batteries out and the charger turned green for both of them. Why did it stop working on me ?

  • A: UPDATE: I got it working again, just a bit tricky with the handle position while using the start button.

Q: Est-ce que cette souffleuse a neige peut aussi enlever la neige dure et lourde?

Translate with Google
1 Answer
