Q: When this light is being powered by a compatible battery and being run on high does the light output stay at a constant brightness or does it get slowly dimmer as battery voltage drops?

A: Stays on set brightness (low,med,or high) until battery reaches low, then it will turn off completely. It's a good light. Lasts equivalent to what is stated on box. Hrs per ah battery.
