Power Good for new thick caulks

Either I'm getting old, or the contents of the caulking tubes is getting thicker - I can no longer squeeze out the caulk with a manual "gun". The powered unit was a life saver. BUT there is a learning curve. READ the instructions, start slow, wear gloves.

It worked well, but we found it very heavy to use. The unit itself has weight, but once the battery is added it becomes even heavier..so unfortunately, we had to return it

Save your money and continue using a basic caulking gun.

The sale price was right but the tool did not perform very well. Even the lowest setting when you stopped pressing the trigger and the tension really rolls back a bit stop the flow it still continued. On one tube the tension cause the tube to burst. By the 3rd tube the manual stop button was so gummed up it stopped working properly which caused even more of a mess.

Caulkin gun saves me from finger grip fatigue!

This is a great Powered Caulking Gun! I had to caulk a whole structure (more of a shed), and this saved my hands. The caulk i was using was pretty thick, and even after poking the seals, it was so strenuous to caulk using a manual gun when you have to do small beads in some areas. I like that there's a quick release so you can quickly swap bottles out. It seems that the design tries to be as balanced as possible when there's a full bottle of caulk, but as you empty it out, the balance is a wee bit lob sided.
One thing i absolutely love is the fact the caulking gun uses very, very little power. I was using just a 1.5 A batter packs and had enough to do the whole structure, and I still had 2 bars of energy left (out of 4).
Would recommend for any handy person.
