Leaks Oil If Not Drained - Otherwise great

Unpacked it and filled it with oil so it would be ready when I needed it. A week later, found a pool of chain oil underneath it. Turns out the manual mentions you need to drain the oil between uses or it will leak out. Bit of a design flaw in my opinion. Works well otherwise. Nice and quiet. Took down a 10" tree no problem. Great for small grooming jobs without all the noise and smell

I wish I never bought it.

Chainsaw is useless, the chain also keeps coming loose every minute or two. It wouldn't even cut through a 2 x 8 plank. The chain oil lubricated too much for such a small trial.

Perfect chainsaw for the job.

Great chainsaw! Lightweight, great battery life, easy to use. We are using it to delimb trees we are cutting down, thickest might be 3-4", most are thinner and a few are thicker. Did multiple cuts for about two hours on one battery. Chain is great, doesn't seem to use much oil, easy to adjust chain tension, no tools required. Made a few cuts through the trunks, 6-7" thick, no problem. Love it!

A: The best rule of thumb. If the battery fits it is ok to use. A: It uses the original 20v batteries as well as the new power pod. The new power pod batteries are a universal type meant to work in the Mastercraft and Maximum tools.
