Solid Performance for DIY Projects

This table saw is definitely underrated!
I was hesitant to buy it after reading some of the reviews, but it’s actually much better than I expected. I’ve been using it for various DIY projects around the house, door trims, closets, and similar work, and it has performed really well.
It was accurate straight out of the box. Even though it doesn’t have a rack-and-pinion fence system, the accuracy is still solid. I just lock the fence in place and double-check the distance at both ends of the blade, and so far I haven’t needed to make any additional adjustments.
Overall, it’s a great value for the price.

Better design than older models.. larger table, wider legs for stability, motor brake is a nice addon. Hope it lasts as long as my old one.

Q: The MasterCraft Table saw 10 in with stand comes in a box. I realize the stand needs to be put together BUT need to know if any parts of the saw (blade etc) needs to be attached or is it ready to go out of the box?? Thx

A: No the saw still needs some assembly. We are trying to out it together and its not that easy unless you are familiar with it already.

Q: Why is the bevel locking lever made of plastic inside and out? It would not tighten enough to hold the bevel up against the stops. Even the slot for the Allen key was plastic and stripped immediately. It will never last! Needs to be made of metal!

A: That's what keeps the price down. At this time I'm painfully trying to find a replacement lever for my saw . It disintegrated on me the other day. I think I will try and make my own out of metal ir hardwood. maybe I patent it and sell it on line. HaHa

A: This table saw does not come with a dust collection bag. But there is a dust post on the back of machine, it can be connected with a vacuum cleaner.

Q: Re: 055-6755-8 purchased fall 2020. I would like to build a cross cut sled. The problem is after hours and hours of research I can't find a "glide" that fits in the mitre gauge grooves. Can you please tell me where I can get a glide for my sled.

A: Dans le marché il y a deux standards pour la grosseur des tuyaux d'aspirateur. L'habituel, le résidentiel et l'autre un peu plus gros pour les appareils de type "shop Vac" pour atelier. - Il existe des adapteurs dans les 2 sens, du plus petit au plus gros et vice et versa. Par contre il n'est pas recommandé d'aspirer de la poussière de sciure avec un aspirateur domestique. Les appareils de type ShopVac sont plus appropriés pour cela. Il est aussi recommandé d'utiliser le sac filtre à poussière fine dans l'aspirateur d'atelier de type shop vac. En général les shopvac viennent avec l'adapteur (petit/gros) donc elle s'adapte à toutes les outils qui ont une sortie à poussière.
