Q: What is the Part number for Belt? I have Mastercrast 1 HPf Belt Driven model. Metal connector for belt broke. it's just 5 month used.
4 years agoA: I don’t know what the part number is, my suggestion is return the unit, get your money back and buy a completely different model, I’ve had nothing but problems with that garage door opener, hopefully your Canadian tire has better customer service than the one I go to.

Q: Finished installation and the belt does not turn or engage when plugged in. Is there a step where I need to adjust a setting or remove a safety to ensure the motor engages the belt?

2 years agoA: I have a 16 foot aluminum door not real heavy ,This opener is a bit slow in the winter time when it’s cold . It’s nice and quiet with the belt drive. I had a 1/2 hp Stanley which was doing a better than this one . This is all electronic maybe I haven’t got thing right .

3 years agoA: Each vehicle is different. The "Homelink" programming sequence should be in your car's operating manual.

Q: Is the WIFI wireless? Any issues with WIFI range? Also how well does this perform in a northern Canadian unheated garage in the winter? Any issues with the LCD screen in extreme temperatures?
4 years agoA: Yes, the wifi is wireless. No issues with the wifi range. We are in the southern part of a Canadian unheated garage and it seems to perform just fine. No issues with the LCD screen in extreme temps. We do notice, however, that the app can be glitchy and not work. We have to re-install periodically to make it work through the app.

6 years agoA: If you mean the time of day, yes you can. You have to run through the program setup. Just bypass the other fields until you get to the clock screen.

9 months agoA: The battery for the backup is a 12VDC 5Ah SLA battery, fairly common for garage door openers and home security system. You are able to open the backup battery case and see the specs on the battery inside.
