Low settings does not work

I bought this specifically for a recipe that I needed to mix on low speed for 10 minutes. The lowest setting stopped working after two minutes and there was only the fourth and fifth highest setting that worked.

Bought this mixer a few months ago and used 3 times. It died on the 3rd time. The company is impossible to get a hold of and they don't even support stuff sold at Canadian Tire. If it was possible I would give it 0 stars
