Great for a quick poke

These sticks come in surprisingly handy if you need to move coals around quickly or skewer something off the Q. Best not to leave them in too long though as they are made out of wood. Great for camping and picnics though

I do prefer metal skewers, but those do the job...just make sure you soak them in water for at least an hour

These work fairly well, if they're soaked they definitely are better and less likely to splinter or burn. Sometimes it's just nice to have disposable skewers.
