If I had read these reviews I would not have bought this mug. The sticker that takes up 70% of the exterior it is impossible to remove. I stopped try to remove it and returned it, a waste of my time. Canadian Tire: REMOVE THIS FROM YOUR STORE.

What is with the label?

I didn't get to use my mug, because, like everyone else the label is almost impossible to remove. You should not have to buy another product to remove a label. Frustrating to say the least. It will be going back!

Label Grief

If you can get the plastic layer off and scrape off the paper label, the glue can be softened with olive oil for 10 min and can be removed pretty easily by wiping off with a paper towel.

Non slip grip

One of the marketers of this product must have a relative in the adhesive business. The label is an absolute show stopper. First layer is a plastic film, strong durable and finicky to peel off. Second layer is the printed material which comes off in small strips. The glue foundation is the worst, user unfriendly concoction I have seen. 20 minutes per mug with paint thinner was the best I could do. BUT, there is residue still on the mugs. Will not come off. Disgusting. Looks good, smells like paint thinner. Feels tacky.
